How to beat Monday blues?

  • Rise up early
We’ve noticed that when you start the day on a wrong note, things just have a way of escalating and getting worse. So getting up late can lead to you needing to skip breakfast, getting late to work and in this way, the snowball effect kicks in. But when you plan and organise your day well, ensuring you start it early, you’ll find the rest of the day goes smoothly too.

  • Tune in to your playlist
A tune that can affect your mood, so start your day by listening to happy songs. These energise you and will also get you in the right frame of mind to start your day. From Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ to Rihanna’s ‘Don’t Stop the Music’, we personally rely on these songs to help start our day the right way.

  • Wear your best outfits
Pick the merriest colour from your wardrobe. This will always make you feel happy as colour can affect our moods. Alternatively, jazz up your outfit with an interesting accessory. A beautiful brooch, a pretty necklace or a quirky ring – any of these can give your regular ensemble that pick-me-up it needs. And you’d be surprised to see the positive effect it has on how you feel.
